Red Wings defenseman Jonathan Ericsson is a game-time decision for tonight’s game against the Calgary Flames. Wings coach Jeff Blashill said forward Henrik Zetterberg will play.
The Wings host the Flames at 7 at Joe Louis Arena.
Ericsson skated this morning, after missing practice on Saturday with what Blashill called an upper body injury.
Zetterberg, who left practice early on Saturday, is dealing with a lower body injury.
If Ericsson can’t go, Blashill said Jakub Kindl will play and will be paired with Alexey Marchenko. “We feel comfortable with that,” Blashill said, adding that Brendan Smith would play with Danny DeKeyser.
