Dominic Turgeon is having a busy week playing - and traveling - between Detroit and Grand Rapids.
Turgeon was returned to Grand Rapids on Friday, a day after he played with the Detroit Red Wings at home. That was after he played with the Red Wings on Monday, was sent back to Grand Rapids on Tuesday and practiced with the Griffins on Wednesday.
In a corresponding move. Winger David Booth was recalled from Grand Rapids to Detroit. He cleared waivers and sent to Grand Rapids on Tuesday, though he never practiced with the team.
The 21-year-old Turgeon gave the Red Wings a penalty-killing center in Thursday's 5-1 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks.
