The 2016 World Cup of Hockey officially gets underway today with two games on the schedule including Team USA taking on Team Europe. Over the past week, fans have been entertained by the pre-tournament games, however, now it is time for the rubber to meet the road as the preliminary round robin tournament action is scheduled to begin this afternoon in Toronto.
According to a Daily News report, two games are on the World Cup schedule today as all eight teams get ready to battle it out. The 2016 World Cup is made up of six countries that include the United States, Canada, Russia, Czech Republic, Finland, and Sweden.
