RALEIGH, N.C. - The Detroit Red Wings will be without at least two defensemen and possibly three for tonight's game against the Carolina Hurricanes, which means Nick Jensen could make his NHL debut at PNC Arena.
Coach Jeff Blashill said Monday that Mike Green, who limped off the ice in the final minute of Saturday's 6-4 home victory over Anaheim, will not play vs. the Hurricanes and could be sidelined until after Christmas.
Brian Lashoff's status is also in doubt after he was hit in the mouth with a puck during the morning skate.
