Several young skaters have a chance to get noticed as the Detroit Red Wings head toward training camp, especially in the wake of the Henrik Zetterberg situation.
Zetterberg is expected to see Dr. Frank Cammisa next week, if not sooner. Cammisa was the doctor who performed back surgery on Zetterberg in the spring of 2014.
“He knows his back as well as anybody,” general manager Ken Holland told the Free Press on Tuesday.
