SUNRISE, Fla. -- Scoring high-profile goals in an international tournament injected Tomas Tatar with confidence he hopes continues with the Detroit Red Wings.
The buoyant winger always plays with enthusiasm, but his confidence sagged last season as he delivered just six goals the final 30 games, 21 goals total, after reaching 29 in 2014-15. The Wings need him in the 30-goal range to be successful, and Tatar knows it.
