The big roster news coming into this one was the return of Danny DeKeyser after a lengthy absence. This game marked his first appearance since December 4, missing a span of 19 games. The key to watch with him was to see if he could shake off any rust from some such a lengthy time off. He came into the night projected to be paired with Cholowski, an intriguing pair to keep an eye on. Unfortunately as a result this meant Filip Hronek found himself in the press box for this game, despite some stronger play of late.
