Detroit — Dominic Turgeon, one of the Red Wings’ top prospects, will be out of the lineup indefinitely after undergoing treatment for thoracic outlet syndrome, the organization announced Thursday.
Turgeon has a blood clot in his right arm, which was diagnosed before the Grand Rapids Griffins’ game Wednesday in Texas.
Turgeon, 22, is playing with the minor-league affiliate Griffins.
