Wings' Miller out 6 weeks, Pulkkinen gone 6-8 weeks

Detroit – The Red Wings lost two players out of their lineup Thursday in just under six minutes.

They'll be without forwards Drew Miller (broken jaw) and Teemu Pulkkinen (dislocated shoulder) after injuries the two suffered in the 5-1 victory over Arizona.

General manager Ken Holland said Miller will miss approximately six weeks with a broken jaw (he'll have surgery Saturday), while Pulkkinen could miss anywhere from six to eight weeks with a dislocated shoulder.

"Those are two guys that are a big part of us and who we are," coach Jeff Blashill said. "Certainly, I don't like to see guys down, and those are losses.
