Sunrise, Fla. – In the spirit of giving during the holiday season, Ted Lindsay has gone all out.
The Red Wings legend Wednesday announced a $1 million gift to the Ted Lindsay Foundation HOPE Center in Southfield.
The HOPE (Hands-on Parents Education) Center in Southfield – which is over 12,000 square feet in size - provides speech pathology, enhanced treatment rooms and observation rooms for parents with video monitors and is affiliated with the Beaumont Children’s Center.
The gift goes hand-in-hand with the purpose of the foundation, said Joanne Lindsay, Ted’s wife.
“To help find a cause and a cure,” Joanne Lindsay said.
