The Detroit Red Wings know the magnitude of tonight's game.
They host the Philadelphia Flyers (8 p.m., NBCSN) at Joe Louis Arena, and at stake are two points that'd go a long ways toward securing a playoff spot. The Wings enter the game with 91 points and in third place in the Atlantic Division.
"It's exciting, a little nerve-racking," Luke Glendening said after the morning skate. "But you play for pressure moments, and pressure games, and that's what the next three are for us."
Jimmy Howard is getting the start in net. Tomas Jurco confirmed he's playing for the first time since mid-March.
