As they head into the last quarter of their season, the Detroit Red Wings are refocusing on their future.
The trade of Gustav Nyquist led to reshuffling lines, and one new look is that Andreas Athanasiou will play center the remaining 19 games. It’s an opportunity to see if he can thrive there long term, similar to what the Wings did two years when Dylan Larkin moved from wing to center.
