Too Much Work For Filip Hronek?

from Max Bultman of The Athletic,

Filip Hronek is the Red Wings’ most valuable defenseman. At just 22 years old, that is already obvious.

He may also, already, be the Red Wings’ best defenseman — Patrik Nemeth still holds the title of best defender, but Hronek and his 28 points in 56 games in his first full NHL season are mighty impressive for his age. That number already puts him among the league’s top 40 defensemen in scoring. He also averages nearly 24 minutes of ice time per game, placing him in the top 20 skaters leaguewide and just behind last season’s Norris Trophy winner, Mark Giordano (a player Detroit coach Jeff Blashill has in the past used as a comparison for Hronek).
