It has been an up and down last few years for Elson. The 25-year-old has spent time most of his pro career in the American Hockey League and this year he is on track to post a career-high in points.
In 22 games played he has 14 points with eight goals and six assists. His current career high in points stands at 30 points. Elson reached that mark during both the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons. If he continues his form then he should surpass the 40-point mark for the first time in his career.
After missing the majority of last season with an injury, Elson appears to be finding his game for the Griffins.
