The Saginaw Spirit added a little Detroit Red Wings flavor Wednesday, trading for Detroit prospect Reilly Webb.
The Red Wings took the 18-year-old defenseman in the sixth round of the 2017 NHL Draft out of Stoney Creek, Ontario.
Hamilton took Webb with the second-round pick of the 2015 OHL draft.
The 6-foot-3, 201-pound defenseman has played i 56 OHL games, scoring one goal, one assist and 40 penalty minutes.
Saginaw send two draft picks and a conditional draft pick to Hamilton for Webb, trading Kitchener's second-round pick in 2018 and Saginaw's fith-round pick in 2020.
