from Dana Gauruder at the Detroit Free Press,
Just how much Fabbri fits into the Wings’ plans remains to be seen. He’ll be a restricted free agent this offseason. Fabbri was originally signed to a three-year, entry-level contract. He has played on one year contracts over the past two years. He inked a one-year, $900K deal in restricted free agency last summer.
Fabbri is hoping for more stability with his next contract.
“I am definitely hoping and excited to get off the back-to-back one-year contracts but that part of the game is for my agent to talk to Yzerman about,” he said.
