NEW YORK — The Detroit Red Wings lost a crazy game Friday, hampered by a teammate’s temper.

The 7-6 final in overtime Friday at Barclays Center featured eight goals in the third period, four of them on the power play as the New York Islanders feasted while Tyler Bertuzzi stewed.

The Wings had built a 5-2 lead in the third period when Bertuzzi delivered a deliberate, two-handed slash to the back of Cal Clutterbuck’s legs.
