Short of renting out the Canadian Tire Centre, the Detroit Red Wings are trying to find ways to score.
They host the imposing Los Angeles Kings tonight at Joe Louis Arena (7:30, FS-Plus), with the big news being the return of forward Brad Richards. He was brought in to be the second-line center that Stephen Weiss never turned out to be, but Richards will start his comeback from injury playing wing, alongside Pavel Datsyuk and Teemu Pulkkinen.
One line to keep an eye on is Riley Sheahan centering Tomas Tatar and Gustav Nyquist. The three have had good chemistry in the past, and that is playing into them being reunited as the Wings seek a surge in scoring.
