Top prospect Dylan Larkin remains with the Detroit Red Wings as they trimmed the roster to 27.
The Wings improved to 6-0-2 in preseason play with Saturday's 2-1 victory at Toronto, which closed out Detroit's exhibition season and prompted several moves today.
Those assigned to the AHL's Grand Rapids Griffins were forwards Andreas Athanasiou, Louis-Marc Aubry, Tyler Bertuzzi, Colin Campbell, Anthony Mantha, Zach Nastasiuk, Tomas Nosek and Eric Tangradi, plus defensemen Nick Jensen, Robbie Russo and Ryan Sproul. Goaltender Jake Paterson was assigned to the ECHL's Toledo Walleye.
The club also placed several players on seven-day IR: Pavel Datsyuk and Danny DeKeyser retroactive to Sept.
