TRAVERSE CITY - Gather all of the prospects at the Detroit Red Wings development camp in one room and ask them what part of their game needs improvement and 95 percent will say the same thing.
Skating and strength.
Michael Rasmussen is no different.
The Red Wings first-round pick (ninth overall) in this year's draft knows his skating has to get better if he wants to play in the NHL someday but he also doesn't pay attention to people who have criticized that part of his game.
"For me, I don't really focus on what other people think or say," Rasmussen said Monday at Centre Ice Arena.
