Detroit Red Wings forward Teemu Pulkkinen has been fined $2,000 by the NHL for diving. The fine is part of the league's crackdown on embellishment and the $2,000 assessment is for a second offense.
Pulkkinen was issued a warning for an incident in the Wings' 3-2 overtime win in Vancouver in Oct. 24. He was also cited for an incident at 12:36 of the first period in the team's 4-1 loss to the Stars at home, which resulted in the $2,000 fine.
