NEWARK, N.J. -- Tomas Jurco, Drew Miller and Kyle Quincey won’t play Monday night against the New Jersey Devils, but could all return from injuries on the upcoming West Coast road trip.
Some might be ready to play as soon as Thursday, when the Detroit Red Wings start the trip in San Jose. The Wings then play the Anaheim Ducks next Sunday, the Los Angeles Kings the next night and the Arizona Coyotes on Jan. 14.
“They’re all close,” Wings coach Jeff Blashill said after the Wings practiced on Sunday afternoon at the Prudential Center. “Miller and Quincey will be available on the trip out West.
