The Detroit Red Wings locked up the Grand Rapids Griffins' leading goal-scorer for another year.
Forward Martin Frk, who helped the Griffins nab the Calder Cup last month, has re-signed with the Red Wings on a two-way, one-year deal.
Frk scored the game-winning goal in the Griffins' Game 6 clincher in the Calder Cup finals. In 2017-18, he'll make $650,000 if he earns a roster spot with the Red Wings, or he'll take home $250,000 if he lands with the Griffins.
