Red Wings prospect Vili Saarijarvi among four Griffins sent to Toledo

Four players on the Grand Rapids Griffins were sent to the ECHL's Toledo Walleye on Monday, including top prospect Vili Saarijarvi.

The others were forwards Dylan Sadowy and Luke Esposito and goalie Matej Machovsky.

Saarijarvi, Detroit's second pick (73^rd overall) in the 2015 draft, joined the Griffins from Toledo on Oct. 22 shortly after the team cleared space at defense with the trade of Ryan Sproul to the New York Rangers.
