The Detroit Red Wings power play and offense went ice cold in their season finale with the Chicago Blackhawks. After a great showing Thursday night, the Red Wings lost 4-0 to Chicago Saturday night.
The first period was not a terrible one for Detroit. Although the Red Wings showed confidence in the offensive zone and outshot their opponent 10-6, a defensive lapse led to a 1-0 Blackhawks lead through the first twenty.
