The Detroit Red Wings played a much stronger game, but it still yielded a similar result. For the second consecutive season, the Red Wings lost their eighth straight game, falling to Tampa 3-1. The Red Wings are 2-8-2 on the season and the path doesn’t get any easier as they take on the Panthers Sunday.
Filip Zadina was impactful in his first game back, notching an assist on the Vladislav Namestnikov goal.
