Red Wings' Henrik Zetterberg, wife welcome baby Love

Detroit Red Wings captain Henrik Zetterberg can add a new title: Father.

He and his wife, Emma, who married five years ago, welcomed their first baby this morning. The boy is named Love Zetterberg (look for him in the 2033 NHL entry draft).

The Zetterbergs had the baby in metro Detroit, even though both parents are Swedish and Sweden has about the best parental labor-leave laws in the world (Sweden replaced traditional 'maternal leave' with parental leave in 1974). Parents can take off (with nearly full salary) a combined 480 days, with each parent entitled to two months of non-transferable benefits.
