The Red Wings, playing four games in five days, improved to 4-0.
Trevor Daley scored what proved to be the winning goal at 9:54 of the second period, capping a run that saw his team scored three times in a span of 5:47. Joe Veleno assisted.
Rasmussen, who had four shots on goal and five hits, tied it at 1-1 at 4:07 of the second.
