The Detroit Red Wings won despite Petr Mrazek’s worst game of the season.
Mrazek allowed a season-high five goals, but the Red Wings went on to beat the Bruins, 6-5, today at Joe Louis Arena.
Henrik Zetterberg was credited with his second goal and third point of the game on a deflection that broke a 5-5 tie at 7:37 into the third period. Danny DeKeyer’s shot got through traffic and past back-up Bruins goalie Jonas Gustavsson (a former Wing) thanks to Zetterberg, who now has 12 goals this season.
Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk each had two goals and an assist and Darren Helm added two goals to lead the Wings.
