Detroit — Dylan Larkin’s injury doesn’t appear to be that serious.
Larkin was on the ice Thursday when the Red Wings returned to practice, although wearing an orange non-contact jersey.
Coach Jeff Blashill also indicated on the Jamie and Stoney Morning Show on 97.1 FM on Thursday morning that Larkin could be available to play Saturday in the regular-season opener in Nashville — or Sunday at home against Dallas, at the latest.
Larkin went down hard along the boards in Tuesday’s practice, went straight to the locker room, and didn’t return.
