Four Detroit Red Wings came away from the World Championship with a medal.
Sunday’s tournament in Copenhagen, Denmark, began with the bronze medal game, which saw the U.S. defeat Canada, 4-1. Wings forward Dylan Larkin set up the first goal, earning his ninth point in 10 games.
The U.S. was coached by Jeff Blashill, and also featured Wings defenseman Nick Jensen. It was the second straight tournament appearance for Blashill and Larkin.
