San Jose, Calif. — If you switched the channel over to the Red Wings game after the Lions’ loss, well, not much to see here either.
San Jose scored three goals in a span of 3:32 — on three shots, at that — late in the first period, leading the Sharks to 6-3 victory Saturday over the Red Wings.
The Sharks barrage all came against goalie Jared Coreau, who was lifted after the first period in favor of Petr Mrazek.
Coreau was coming off a shutout Thursday in Los Angeles, in only his fifth NHL game.
