The Detroit Red Wings assigned Dylan Sadowy to the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL. They also released six players from tryout contracts. The latter players will also report to Toledo.
None of the players were expected to compete for a roster spot.
With preseason games coming up tonight and tomorrow night, as well as Friday and Saturday, it seems likely that many more roster moves will be made Thursday before the final two games.
