DETROIT – Injuries are mounting for the Detroit Red Wings.
They lost defenseman Brendan Smith and forward Tyler Bertuzzi during the second period of Saturday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Montreal Canadiens at Joe Louis Arena.
General manager Ken Holland said both players will undergo tests in the next 24-48 hours.
