After an incredible season that was filled with so many great memories, franchise records set, and a special group of player who stole our hearts, the Griffins were eliminated from the playoffs. They fell 2-0 in game 6 of the Western Conference Finals to a very good Utica Comets team. It was a matchup between the best offensive team in the league and the best defensive team in the league, and the comets shut down defensive abilities won out. Jacob Markstrom was the stellar goalie we knew he was, and he led his team every step of the way.
