Wings did not look much better than they did last night in the first period and the Ducks lead 1-0 after 20 minutes plus Dylan Larkin left the game after playing 6 1/2 minutes with an upper-body injury.
Detroit played better in period two in the offensive zone, scored twice to take a 2-1 lead but the Ducks scored late in the second period to make it 2-2.
Ducks scored early in the third and the Wing tied it midway in the period to even the score at 3.
The teams headed to OT where the Wings dominated play but could not score.
