Quick Hits: The Young Pope Edition

There are numerous young players in the organization expected to compete for roster spots in Detroit. Pope is now part of that group, as the Wings need to address their scoring (their 2.59 goals-per-game average was 28th in the league this season).

Other forward prospects on the list include Rasmussen, 2015 first-round pick Evgeny Svechnikov, and Dominic Turgeon, a third-round pick from 2014. Another possible candidate is whomever the Wings pick at sixth overall in June.

How soon can David Pope help? I think he can help right now.
