Wings prospects Joe Veleno and Jared McIsaac are on Canada’s roster and Zadina is currently on the Czechs’ roster. Detroit is keeping Rasmussen away for now (knowing there’s time to change), but if something is going to change, I’d put it more likely that Zadina ends up staying away than Rasmussen ends up going.

$3.5M isn’t a terribly large increase but I don’t think that’s going to hurt the Wings’ cap situation coming up. We’ll see where the final number comes out next year, but this is a decent ballpark with which to rosterbate going forward.
