There is a rookie tournament in works for this fall in Traverse City but it will be a smaller gathering than usual. Detroit obviously, with Columbus, Dallas, St. Louis and Toronto are expected clubs to participate.

The Flyers, Golden Knights and Predators have linked up on a three-team deal involving Ryan Ellis, Nolan Patrick, Philippe Myers and Cody Glass, according to Elliotte Friedman.

Per Friedman, Ellis is being acquired by the Flyers in exchange for Patrick and Myers.
