The Red Wings have partnered with Michigan-based organizations like Kroger and Forgotten Harvest for several years with initiatives like canned food drives, fundraising events and more.
“Kroger is happy to partner with the Detroit Red Wings and the Red Wings Foundation to support our communities in need with nearly 2,000 bags packed with breakfast foods for children and families,” Kroger corporate affairs manager Rachel Hurst said. “Partnerships like this allow us to amplify our continued commitment toward fighting for Zero Hunger in our communities we serve.”
