“(Frolunda) lost a lot of defensemen this year, so he’s going to get a lot of opportunity,” Red Wings director of player development Shawn Horcoff said. “He’s a guy that we’re going to monitor closely and spend a lot of time on. He’s physical, he skates well, he’s got a good first pass.”
Lindstrom, incidentally, hasn’t met Lidstrom, who retired in 2012.
Lindstrom said of his favorites: “I like to watch some right-handed defensemen like Erik Karlsson, but if I should compare myself to some right-handed defenders in the NHL I would maybe say Anton Stralman or Kevin Shattenkirk.
