Nothing earth-shattering in the articles that have been posted (as of early evening ET on Thursday), but Khan does have a little bit of info about the other two RFAs:
The Red Wings are negotiating contracts with restricted free agents Dylan Larkin and Anthony Mantha, neither of whom was arbitration eligible. Mantha is expected to sign a two-year bridge deal. Larkin might sign a long-term extension, likely no more than five years.
If at all possible, Ken Holland should try to sign Larkin to a long-term deal. IMO, there aren’t a ton of players league-wide you want to sign long term.
