Jacob Piros, who has cancer, met the Predators, Pekka Rinne, and practiced with them
NASHVILLE -- Sweat poured from Jacob Piros' pores.
Understandable for a teenager who faced NHL shots for the first time and was about to go to lunch with Pekka Rinne.
"I kind of stink," Piros said Friday afternoon after practicing with the NHL's Nashville Predators as part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation's program. "I need a shower."
Piros, a 17-year-old fromIonia, and his parents, Ronda Klein and Mark Piros, were in Nashville for a four-day stay earlier this month as part of his wish to meet Rinne, one of his favorite players.
