Penguins' Porter brings Stanley Cup to Plymouth

Former Wolverines forward Kevin Porter brought the Stanley Cup to Plymouth's Kellogg Park Sunday.

Porter, one of three local players who won the Cup with the Pittsburgh Penguins this year, posed for photos and signed autographs for a couple of hours.

Defenseman Ian Cole of Ann Arbor displayed the Cup at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube Arena Friday.

Forward Bryan Rust of Bloomfield Hills brought the trophy to a private party at Plum Hollow Country Club in Southfield Saturday.

Porter, who was born in Plymouth and won the Hobey Baker Award as the best player in college hockey, also took the Cup to the new grocery store in Plymouth, Westborn Market.
