The lakeside house of Red Wings star Pavel Datsyuk is a limestone castle outside, sleek and innovative inside. Tanya Wildt, Detroit Free Press
Pavel Datsyuk, the former Red Wing superstar fans called "The Magic Man," built this stunning lakeside house during the 14 years he played hockey in Detroit.
On the outside, it is a limestone castle, even to the tall, skinny turret where a vertical slit forms the front window — a spot where hidden archers could repel an enemy.
But step inside and the home turns super sleek — curving walls, curving glass, white marble, granite, porcelain tile, lacquered zebra wood.
