The Detroit Red Wings had 12 players named to the NHL's top 100 players of all-time and only one isn't in the Hall of Fame.
Could that be a sign of things to come for Pavel Datsyuk?
Datsyuk, who is still active in Russia's Kontinental Hockey League, was named to the team that was announced Friday night in Los Angeles as part of the NHL's All-Star Game festivities.
The Detroit Dozen also included Gordie Howe, Steve Yzerman, Nicklas Lidstrom, Terry Sawchuk, Sid Abel, Ted Lindsay, Alex Delvecchio, Red Kelly, Chris Chelios, Sergei Fedorov and Brendan Shanahan.
