Detroit — The win streak was nice, but this has been more the norm this Red Wings' season.
The three-game win streak that took fans' minds off a horrid start to this season is history, after the Edmonton Oilers defeated the Wings Saturday, 4-3, at Little Caesars Arena.
Tyler Bertuzzi scored his fifth goal at 18 minutes, 34 seconds of the third period, with goaltender Jonathan Bernier pulled for the extra attacker, cutting the lead to 4-3.
But the Wings couldn't get the equalizer, the Oilers keeping the Wings at bay the final minute.
