Defenseman Niklas Kronwall scored his 400th career point as the Detroit Red Wings earned their first regulation win in more than a month.
The Wings defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins, 5-2, on Tuesday night at Little Caesars Arena.
Kronwall, Frans Nielsen, Luke Glendening (two goals) and Darren Helm (two assists) scored for the Wings. Dylan Larkin and defenseman Joe Hicketts, called up Monday night from Grand Rapids, each had two assists.
