According to the team’s official Twitter account, the Detroit Red Wings have inked restricted free agent Dylan Larkin to a five-year contract. The contract will pay him $6,100,000 annually and it will take him to unrestricted free agency on July 1, 2023.

Larkin scored 23 goals and 45 points in 80 games in his rookie season in 2014-15, helping the Wings to their most recent playoff berth.
