According to capfriendly.com, in the first hour of free agency, there were 31 signings with an estimated total cap hit of $84,274,125.
The amount of the total contract dollars is $356,599,125.
That's a lot of money in a short period of time.
Amazingly, even after taking on Pavel Datsyuk's $7.5 million cap space and signing Jamie McGinn to a three-year deal for $10 million, the Arizona Coyotes still have more than $22 million in cap space available.
